PSG goalkeeper Sergio Rico in intensive care after driving accident

Paris St Germain goalkeeper Sergio Rico is in intensive care following a driving accident.

The French soccer membership confirmed experiences that Rico is within the ICU at a hospital in Seville.

He fell off a horse whereas driving within the El Rocio area of Huelva in Spain, in response to experiences by native media.

A runaway horse reportedly collided with the animal he was driving.

The 29-year-old Spaniard suffered a head damage and is in a severe situation, native media reported.

“Paris Saint-Germain learned of Sergio Rico’s accident on Sunday and are in constant contact with his family,” PSG mentioned in a press release.

The former Sevilla keeper joined PSG in 2020 after a season-long mortgage on the membership.

Sevilla soccer membership tweeted: “Lots of strength and a speedy recovery.”

He beforehand performed within the Premier League with Fulham.
