Brightly flashing ‘X’ signal faraway from the previous Twitter’s San Francisco headquarters

SAN FRANCISCO — A brightly flashing “X” signal has been faraway from the San Francisco headquarters of the corporate previously often called Twitter simply days after it was put in.

The San Francisco Department of Building Inspection mentioned Monday it obtained 24 complaints concerning the unpermitted construction over the weekend. Complaints included issues about its structural security and illumination.

The Elon Musk-owned firm, which has been rebranded as X, had eliminated the Twitter signal and iconic blue fowl emblem from the constructing final week. That work was briefly paused as a result of the corporate didn’t have the required permits. For a time, the “er” on the finish of “Twitter” remained up because of the abrupt halt of the signal takedown.



The metropolis of San Francisco had opened a criticism and launched an investigation into the enormous “X” signal, which was put in Friday on prime of the downtown constructing as Musk continues his rebrand of the social media platform.

The chaotic rebrand of Twitter’s constructing signage is much like the haphazard manner by which the Twitter platform is being changed into X. While the X emblem has changed Twitter on many elements of the location and app, remnants of Twitter stay.

Representatives for X didn’t instantly reply to a message for remark Monday.
