Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell referred to as on President Biden to start out negotiating with Republicans on a deal to lift the debt ceiling, addressing the Senate for the primary since struggling a concussion in a fall six weeks in the past.

Mr. McConnell referred to as on Mr. Biden to carry talks with Republicans hours after Speaker Kevin McCarthy, a California Republican, pledged a House vote on a GOP plan to lift the debt ceiling within the coming weeks.
