‘Little hero’ steers college bus to security in Michigan after driver passes out at wheel

A younger boy has been hailed a “little hero” for grabbing the wheel of a faculty bus and bringing it to a protected cease after the motive force handed out on a busy highway.

Dillon Reeves, 13, earned reward for “an extraordinary act of courage and maturity” after leaping into motion because the automobile carrying dozens of screaming kids veered in direction of oncoming visitors within the Detroit space of Michigan.

The drama on Wednesday was captured on a video digital camera above the motive force.

After hitting the brakes Dillon referred to as out: “Someone call 911. Now.”

“He’s been on my lap driving country roads, pulling into driveways since about four years old… He’s a good driver.”

Warren councilman Jonathan Lafferty wrote on Facebook: “This young man jumped into action when his school bus driver experienced a medical emergency, bringing the bus to a stop and avoiding what could have been a very tragic accident.

“We are very happy with you in your heroic actions.”

The bus driver was taken to hospital the place she obtained remedy.
