Elon Musk’s Vegas Loop will get approval for growth in Las Vegas

The Boring Co.’s Vegas Loop gained approval for a big growth of stations and tunnels Wednesday.

The Clark County Commission authorised 25 new miles of tunnels and 18 new stations for the loop. This brings the overall mileage of the deliberate loop to 54 and the overall stations to 67. The growth was authorised in a 6-1 vote.

The Boring Co., owned by tech billionaire Elon Musk, at the moment operates a small model of the loop below the Las Vegas Convention Center. The loop transports passengers in underground tunnels in Tesla Model X and Y vehicles.
