Diva V&A exhibition: Rihanna’s iconic outfits to be showcased

The Victoria and Albert Museum (V&A) will showcase greater than 250 appears to be like that celebrates iconic performers in a brand new Diva exhibition which opens on June 24.

“[Rihanna] embodies the spirit of the 19th century divas and shows us today how divas don’t just create art, they are culture-makers, entrepreneurs and activists.”

The Diva exhibition will showcase over 250 objects from the V&A set, together with Tina Turner’s iconic flame gown from the Seventies in addition to different trend ensembles worn by Marilyn Monroe, Pink, Sir Elton John and Dame Shirley Bassey.

The exhibition will look into the intersection between politics and efficiency and the way artists and actors use their profile to lift consciousness for civil rights and social change.
