Tom Daley’s husband, Dustin Lance Black, is dealing with trial in August accused of assaulting a lady in a London nightclub.
The 48-year-old American filmmaker is accused of throwing a drink over BBC Three presenter and social gathering planner Teddy Edwardes.
He appeared at Westminster Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, a courtroom official confirmed.
Black is charged with assaulting Edwardes by beating at Freedom nightclub in Soho, based on courtroom papers.
He pleaded not responsible to the cost and was granted unconditional bail forward of a trial on 8 August.
