Mets’ Scherzer ejected for sticky stuff after umpire verify

LOS ANGELES — Max Scherzer was ejected from the New York Mets’ sport on the Los Angeles Dodgers on Wednesday after umpires did a customary verify of his glove earlier than the underside of the fourth inning.
