Authorities: 4 killed, a number of accidents in Alabama capturing

Four individuals have been killed and a number of individuals injured throughout a capturing Saturday night time in Dadeville, the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency mentioned.

The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency mentioned the capturing occurred at about 10:30 p.m. There was no preliminary affirmation about what led to the capturing. It was not instantly identified if a suspect was in custody.

Pastor Ben Hayes, who serves because the chaplain for the Dadeville Police Department and for the native highschool soccer group, mentioned many of the victims are youngsters as a result of the capturing occurred at a celebration for a 16-year-old. He mentioned the capturing has rocked the small city the place severe crime is uncommon.

“One of the young men that was killed was one of our star athletes and just a great guy. So I knew many of these students. Dadeville is a small town and this is going to affect everybody in this area,” Hayes mentioned.

WRBL-TV reported that the capturing occurred at a dance studio. The station confirmed pictures of crime scene tape across the Mahogany Masterpiece Dance Studio and neighboring buildings and a heavy police presence.

“This morning, I grieve with the people of Dadeville and my fellow Alabamians. Violent crime has NO place in our state, and we are staying closely updated by law enforcement as details emerge,” Alabama Gov. Kay Ivey mentioned in an announcement posted on social media.

Dadeville, which has a inhabitants of about 3,200 individuals, is in east Alabama, about 57 miles northeast of Montgomery, Alabama.
