Chicago police say rideshare driver wounds two robbers in defensive taking pictures

Police in Chicago mentioned a rideshare driver shot two armed robbers Saturday after finishing a visit within the metropolis’s West Side.

The driver dropped off a passenger within the North Lawndale neighborhood round 1 a.m., when a 20-year-old man and an 18-year-old girl approached the motive force at gunpoint, police mentioned.

The robbers stole the 26-year-old passenger’s cellphone after which shot on the rideshare driver as they fled the scene. 



Authorities mentioned the motive force, a hid carry license holder, shot again and struck the male robber within the leg and grazed the feminine robber’s arm.  

The male robber was taken to a hospital in good situation. The feminine robber declined medical consideration.

The rideshare driver wasn’t injured.
