Police: ‘Multiple casualties’ from taking pictures in Louisville

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) — Police are reporting “multiple casualties” as they reply to a taking pictures in a financial institution constructing in downtown Louisville.

The Louisville Metro Police Department mentioned Monday on Twitter there was an ongoing state of affairs and requested folks to keep away from the world. “There are multiple casualties,” police mentioned within the tweet. Police described it as an “active aggressor.”

Witnesses who left the constructing instructed WHAS-TV they heard gunfire contained in the constructing.

Numerous police autos have been seen on tv footage. WHAS reporters mentioned they noticed folks being taken from the scene in ambulances.

In a tweet, Kentucky Gov. Andy Beshear mentioned he was heading to the scene.

“Please pray for all of the families impacted and for the city of Louisville,” Beshear mentioned.
