Three troopers useless and one injured as two US military helicopters crash in Alaska

Three troopers have died following a collision between two military helicopters within the US state of Alaska.

Two of the troopers died on the scene, with the third dying whereas on the way in which to hospital.

A fourth soldier is being handled in hospital for accidents following the crash on Thursday, which concerned two AH-64 Apache helicopters getting back from a coaching flight within the Healy area of the northwestern state.

The troopers’ identities have been withheld till relations are notified, the military stated.

Each helicopter was carrying two folks on the time of the accident, John Pennell, a spokesman for the US military Alaska, stated.

“This is an incredible loss for these soldiers’ families, their fellow soldiers, and for the division,” Major General Brian Eifler, commanding basic of the eleventh Airborne Division, stated.

“Our hearts and prayers go out to their families, friends and loved ones, and we are making the full resources of the army available to support them.”

In February, there was one other accident involving army helicopters in Alaska the place two troopers had been injured.

While 9 troopers had been killed when two military helicopters crashed in Kentucky in March, once more throughout a coaching train.
