An AI generated newsreader has been revealed by a media outlet in Kuwait.
Kuwait News posted a video to their Twitter account over the weekend displaying the computerised anchor introducing “herself” as “Fedha”.
The AI video confirmed a blonde girl carrying a black jacket and a white T-shirt.
“I’m Fedha, the first presenter in Kuwait who works with artificial intelligence at Kuwait News. What kind of news do you prefer? Let’s hear your opinions,” she mentioned in Arabic.
The website is affiliated with the Kuwait Times, based in 1961 because the Gulf area’s first English-language day by day.
Abdullah Boftain, deputy editor in chief for each retailers, mentioned the transfer is a check of AI’s potential to supply “new and innovative content”, the AFP stories.
