British mother-of-10 amongst three killed in motorway crash in France – experiences

A British lady is amongst three individuals killed in a serious automobile crash on a motorway in northern France.

The lady was named in media experiences as mother-of-10 Miriam Posen, from Stamford Hill, London.

The mom, aged in her 40s, was reportedly travelling with different members of the family when the accident occurred.

Emergency companies have been known as at round 6pm on Sunday to a crash between two vehicles and a British nine-seater van on the A26 close to Neuville-Saint-Vaast and Thelus.

More than 65 firefighters and 9 ambulances attended the incident, which happened as roadworks have been carried out within the Reims-Calais route.

French officers stated three individuals had died and 5 others have been in a essential situation following the crash, which concerned 17 individuals.

A Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office spokesperson stated: “We are in contact with the local authorities following a road traffic accident in France and have offered our assistance to the family.”

Two of the individuals critically injured have been transported by helicopter to hospitals in Lille and Arras.

Jacques Billant, prefect of Pas-de-Calais – who represents the world – thanked emergency companies for his or her “responsiveness and professionalism in the management of this event and the assistance provided to the victims”.

Witnesses who attended the accident have been additionally supplied psychological care, in keeping with French officers.
