Stunt crew injured throughout manufacturing of Gladiator sequel

Several folks have been injured on the set of the Gladiator movie sequel after a “stunt sequence” went improper.

The movie’s manufacturing firm Paramount Pictures mentioned: “While filming a deliberate stunt sequence on the set of the Gladiator sequel, an accident occurred throughout which a number of crew members skilled non-life threatening accidents.

“The safety and full medical services teams onsite were able to act quickly so that those who were impacted immediately received necessary care.

“They are all in secure situation and proceed to obtain therapy.

“The wellbeing of the solid and crew is of the utmost significance to us, and we’ve got strict well being and security procedures in place on all our productions.

“We will continue monitoring the situation and taking all necessary precautions as we resume production.”

Sir Ridley Scott, who directed the unique award-winning movie, is returning for the second instalment.

The sequel, which has not but been given an official title, is being filmed in Morocco.

It will star Irish actor Paul Mescal and, in accordance with US media, Oscar-winning actor Denzel Washington, The Last Of Us star Pedro Pascal, Stranger Things actor Joseph Quinn and Connie Nielsen, who acted within the authentic.

In the primary movie, Crowe starred as Roman basic Maximus Decimus Meridius alongside Joaquin Phoenix as Emperor Commodus and Richard Harris as Emperor Marcus Aurelius.

The authentic movie was launched in 2000 and its sequel is anticipated to hit cinemas late in 2024.
