Man City celebrates successful treble of main trophies with open-top bus parade in rain

MANCHESTER, England — Champagne and rain poured as Manchester City’s gamers celebrated successful the treble of main trophies with an open-top bus parade by town heart in entrance of tens of hundreds of followers on Monday.

The begin of the night parade was delayed due to what City referred to as “adverse weather conditions and lightning storms” however two blue buses – full with the Premier League, FA Cup and Champions League trophies aboard – finally wound their approach by town streets, with the gamers and cigar-smoking supervisor Pep Guardiola carrying T-shirts bearing the phrases “Treble Winners.”

“It had to be the best parade with this rain, otherwise this is not Manchester,” Guardiola stated after the squad reached a stage in the midst of Manchester, led by a shirtless Erling Haaland and Ruben Dias with medals round his neck.



City beat Inter Milan 1-0 within the Champions League remaining in Istanbul on Saturday to finish the treble and emulate the achievement of Manchester United’s class of 1998-99.

It was a primary Champions League title for City, together with a fifth Premier League title in six years and a second FA Cup in Guardiola’s seven-year reign.
