Biden takes aerial tour of I-95 injury, pledges to ‘move heaven and earth’ to finish restore

President Biden took an aerial tour of the collapsed stretch of Interstate 95 in Philadelphia on Saturday and pledged to maneuver heaven and earth to restore the injury.

Speaking in Philadelphia after finishing the tour on the presidential Marine One helicopter, Mr. Biden mentioned he’s marshaling the federal authorities to reply to the injury.

“There’s no more important project right now in the country, as far as I’m concerned,” Mr. Biden mentioned. “I’m directing my team, not figuratively but literally, to move heaven and earth to get done as soon as humanly possible.”

Accompanying Mr. Biden on the helicopter tour of the wreckage had been Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shapiro, Sens. Bob Casey and John Fetterman, Rep. Brendan Boyle, and Philadelphia Mayor Jim Kenney, all of who’re Democrats.

Mr. Biden thanked the officers for his or her collaborative response and applauded the primary responders engaged on the disaster too. The president is about to attend a political occasion with union staff in Philadelphia afterward Saturday.
