NFL Draft prospect concerned in deadly automotive crash

MOBILE, Ala. — NFL prospect and former Louisiana broad receiver Michael Jefferson was concerned in a deadly automotive accident in Mobile County.

Jefferson’s agent, Jon Perzley, informed ESPN that the participant suffered accidents within the accident Sunday night that required a number of operations. Perzley didn’t instantly reply to an electronic mail despatched by The Associated Press on Wednesday.

Charles A. Dunn, 55, was pronounced lifeless on the scene after his automotive collided head-on with a 2014 Dodge Charger pushed by Jefferson, a 23-year-old from Mobile. Another automobile then struck Dunn’s automotive. The accident occurred at about 7:55 p.m. on Sunday

Jefferson performed the final two seasons at Louisiana after transferring from Alabama State. He completed together with his finest season, catching 51 passes for 810 yards and 7 touchdowns.

He’s projected as a possible late-round decide within the draft beginning April 27.

The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s Highway Patrol Division is investigating the accident.
