Williams again with Padres, received’t coach for no less than 4 weeks

SAN DIEGO — San Diego Padres third base coach Matt Williams already had baseball on his thoughts when the anesthesia was sporting off following colon most cancers surgical procedure two weeks in the past.

Williams managed the Washington Nationals for 2 seasons and was the NL Manager of the Year in 2014. He was supervisor Bob Melvin’s third base coach in Oakland in 2018-19 and joined Melvin’s Padres workers final season.
