D.C. Bar disciplinary panel requires disbarring Giuliani

The D.C. Bar Association on Friday advisable that former Trump legal professional Rudolph Giuliani be disbarred over his try to problem the 2020 election.

He claimed massive election fraud but had no evidence of it,” the committee wrote in its report.



“By prosecuting that destructive case, Mr. Giuliani, a sworn officer of the court, forfeited his right to practice law. He should be disbarred.”

Although the report shouldn’t be the ultimate say on whether or not or not Mr. Giuliani, a former federal prosecutor and former mayor of New York, can maintain his regulation license, it should harm him as he battles to stay a licensed legal professional.  

His licenses to apply regulation in New York and Washington have been suspended since 2021.
