MIAMI — The Philadelphia Phillies positioned left-handed reliever José Alvarado on the 15-day injured listing on Sunday due to left elbow irritation.
The 28-year-old Alvarado has appeared in 26 video games and final pitched in a one-inning scoreless outing in opposition to the Tampa Bay Rays on Thursday.
