Michigan man accused of stabbing ex-partner and killing her toddler charged with string of crimes

A person accused of stabbing his ex-girlfriend and killing her toddler has been charged with a string of crimes, together with homicide.

Rashad Trice, 26, is dealing with 20 fees from the Michigan state lawyer basic within the US associated to the dying of two-year-old Wynter Cole-Smith, in addition to sexual assault and assault with intent to homicide.

Trice is accused of kidnapping the kid on 2 July within the city of Lansing after he allegedly sexually assaulted her mom, and was arrested on the morning of three July.

However, when he was arrested he was not with Wynter, together with her physique being discovered three days later in an alleyway in Detroit.

Federal investigators stated they consider the two-year-old was strangled with a cell phone charging lead.

In a press release, Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessell stated: “We have alleged today, and our many charges reflect, a horrific and brutal crime spree from Lansing to Detroit to St Clair Shores.”

The fees towards Trice embrace homicide, kidnapping and kidnapping inflicting dying.

Trice is being held on the Newaygo County Jail and will face life in jail with out parole if discovered responsible.
