Former Wimbledon semifinalist Dimitrov stated he is not stunned Alcaraz rallied for an epic five-set victory to dethrone defending champion Djokovic and win Wimbledon.

World No. 20 Dimitrov, who lost to Alcaraz in the Queen’s Club quarterfinals weeks before his Wimbledon triumph, said despite Djokovic winning six of the first seven games, he believed Alcaraz was employing the right tactics and would turn it around.

“Me, as a participant, I noticed issues a little bit bit early on. I felt that, I imply, even after I noticed the rating within the first set, I simply felt like, you already know, Alcaraz was on it,” Dimitrov said. “I imply, for me, it’s extremely attention-grabbing to observe a match from that caliber to sort of see what each of the gamers are doing on the massive factors.
