District man discovered responsible of utilizing bomb menace to rob financial institution

A 65-year-old D.C. man was discovered responsible Thursday of armed theft and felony threats for utilizing a bomb menace to rob a District financial institution in final October.

Mark Stubblefield walked right into a Truist financial institution final Oct. 20 at 1369 Connecticut Avenue NW whereas disguised.

Stubblefield then demanded $10,000, and threatened to make use of an explosive to explode the tellers if his calls for weren’t met. Within two minutes, the tellers had complied, and Stubblefield left.
