Cecil County man, 86, accused of torching neighbor’s BMW

An octogenarian resident of Conowingo, Maryland, in Cecil County was arrested Tuesday on fees of arson.

Phillip Fleming, 86. is accused of torching his neighbor’s BMW on Monday night time after a long-running spat.

Firefighters discovered the BMW aflame at about 9:15 p.m.



Investigators stated surveillance video captured the perpetrator crossing the road to set the automobile ablaze whereas it was sitting in a driveway.

Mr. Fleming was arrested within the woods behind his close by home, and he’s been charged with second-degree arson, first- and second-degree malicious burning, malicious destruction of property value over $1,000 and failure to adjust to a peace order.
