TIMBERLAKE, N.C. — A North Carolina father has been charged after fatally capturing a driver who hit and killed his teenage son alongside a street Monday, a sheriff mentioned.
The 17-year-old boy died because the household of three walked dwelling after operating out of fuel round 6:30 a.m., Person County Sheriff Jason Wilborn instructed information retailers. The driver of the truck stopped and referred to as 911 shortly after the crash, which occurred close to Timberlake.
The teen’s father, Chad Woods, then pulled out a gun and shot the motive force, who was recognized as Jeffery McKay, the sheriff’s workplace mentioned.
