The Reds are calling up prime prospect Noelvi Marte, in line with ESPN’s Jeff Passan, as they proceed their push for a postseason berth. The membership has not confirmed the transfer.
Marte, who the Reds acquired on the 2022 Trade Deadline in a take care of the Mariners for pitcher Luis Castillo, is MLB Pipeline’s No. 24 general prospect. The 21-year-old infielder slashed .280/.365/.455 in 39 video games at Triple-A Louisville earlier than his callup.
