Luis Rubiales: Below hearth Spanish FA president once more defends ‘mutual and consented’ World Cup remaining kiss

Spanish FA president Luis Rubiales has issued a contemporary defence after kissing a participant on the lips following the Women’s World Cup remaining.

Mr Rubiales‘ assertion comes because the Spanish soccer federation known as for him to step down on Monday.

Mr de la Fuente mentioned the soccer federation president’s defiant speech was a “situation that overwhelmed many of us for which I was not prepared for” – saying he anticipated Mr Rubiales to resign.

He added: “I want to take this moment and my place as national men’s coach to explain the situation.

“I’ve acquired harsh criticism for it. Do you already know what I consider the criticisms? They are fully deserved, that I’m sorry, that I perceive them and ask forgiveness for them.”

Meanwhile, a Spanish government legal panel handling sports issues opened a formal case against Mr Rubiales.

Spain is hoping to remove him independently of a FIFA process that has already suspended him provisionally.

The authorities panel will resolve if he abused his authority by kissing Hermoso or broken the picture and status of Spain at a sporting occasion, as the federal government claims.
