White House says McCarthy floating impeachment to ‘throw red meat’ to GOP

The White House says that House Speaker Kevin McCarthy’s plans to maneuver ahead with an impeachment inquiry are baseless, accusing him of merely making an attempt to throw “red meat” to “right-wing” Republicans.
