The UK will rejoin the EU’s Horizon science programme after two years of absence post-Brexit, the federal government has confirmed.
Number 10 mentioned the UK will be part of “through a bespoke new agreement with the EU”.
A spokesperson added Prime Minister Rishi Sunak secured “improved financial terms of association that are right for the UK and protect the taxpayer”.
The problem has been on Mr Sunak’s desk for weeks whereas he makes an attempt to barter a better sum for British scientists to make sure they catch up after the two-year absence.
