Rangers snap skid after Seventh-inning wild pitch

With the bases loaded and two outs in a 2-2 sport within the Seventh, Ornelas didn’t ship the clutch hit that evaded Texas on Friday. But he didn’t must.

Robbie Grossman scored what turned the game-winning run on a wild pitch, and the Rangers breathed a giant sigh of reduction after a 3-2 win at Globe Life Field over the Athletics snapped a four-game shedding streak.

Texas starter Nathan Eovaldi made his second begin after getting back from a proper forearm pressure, regaining a lot of the speed and stuff on his pitches that had evaded him within the first. Martín Pérez adopted with a powerful bulk outing in reduction (one hit and three strikeouts in 2 2/3 scoreless innings).

After Chris Stratton allowed a two-run residence run to Zack Gelof to tie issues up within the sixth, Grossman, who walked 3 times, scored the go-ahead run within the seventh. Will Smith and Aroldis Chapman adopted Stratton and mixed to pitch 2 1/3 scoreless innings to safe the win.
