Fissette Stops Coaching Zheng Qinwen to Reunite with Naomi Osaka

After just a few months teaching China’s Zheng Qinwen, coach Wim Fissette has reportedly ended the pair’s partnership with a purpose to resume his position of full-time coach of Naomi Osaka (no official phrase on that but, nevertheless).

Zheng spoke to media after successful the gold medal on the Asian Games.

The information was reported by Chinese journalist Zhang Bendou on Twitter.

“I understand his decision, but my family and I feel hurt. Right now I don’t want to talk about this person,” Zheng said, according to Zhang.

Zheng Qinwen stated after successful Gold Medal on the Asian Games that Wim Fissette had completed their partnership and going again to Naomi Osaka.

Fissette coached Osaka to her final two main titles, earlier than parting methods with the four-time main champion in July of 2021.

Osaka, who gave beginning to her first little one, Shai, in July, will start her comeback at this 12 months’s Australian Open. She final performed in Tokyo, in September of 2022.

Fissette has coached many prime ladies throughout his legendary teaching profession, together with Kim Clijsters, Simona Halep, Victoria Azarenka and Angelique Kerber.
