Border protections at UK airports are neither "effective nor efficient" as ePassport gates are typically left unmanned, in line with one among a number of delayed stories by sacked chief inspector David Neal.The Home Office has printed 13 papers written by the previous borders and immigration inspector, who was dismissed final week after releasing info to the press about alleged airport safety failings.
