‘Jeopardy!’ offers with writers’ strike by repeating winners and questions

“Jeopardy!” will use earlier contestants and inquiries to adjust to the writers’ strike, the present introduced this week.

Showrunner Michael Davies introduced on the “Inside Jeopardy!” podcast that the present would use earlier winners and repeat some inquiries to fill out the latest season of the trivia present.

The new season begins Sept. 11.

“We’re going to open the season with a second-chance tournament for players from season 37 who lost their initial game,” Mr. Davies stated, including that winners will advance to wild-card rounds.

He stated contestants might be requested questions from earlier seasons or questions that employees wrote earlier than the strike.
