The areas of 52 Wilko shops that can shut after failing to safe a rescue deal have been revealed by directors.
PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), which was appointed to supervise the insolvency final month, stated it stays in talks with events interested by shopping for the remaining components of the enterprise.
On Tuesday, rival retailer B&M purchased as much as 51 different Wilko shops in a deal price as much as £13m.
Administrators added “it is possible that further store closures may regrettably be necessary”, relying on talks with remaining suitors.
Team members working on the shops affected shall be made redundant.
Edward Williams, joint administrator, stated: “In the absence of viable offers for the whole business, very sadly store closures and redundancies of team members from those stores are now necessary.
“The lack of these shops shall be felt not solely by the group members who served them with such dedication, together with via the uncertainty of latest weeks, but in addition the communities which they’ve been part of.”

The job cuts are along with the lack of 269 roles on the chain’s help centre in Worksop, Nottinghamshire, together with 14 roles at Wilko subsidiary Kin Limited, which have been introduced on the finish of final month.
