James Webb Space Telescope captures spectacular picture of ultimate chapters of star’s life
The spectacular ultimate chapters of a star's life have been captured in unprecedented element by the James Webb Space Telescope.Astronomers say the picture of the Ring Nebula - which bought its identify from its wispy, doughnut-like construction - might present new insights into what occurs to the celestial our bodies as they die.
Dr Mike Barlow, who led a global crew of scientists on the venture, mentioned it provided "a preview of the solar's distant future".Ring Nebula is 2,600 mild years away from Earth and was born from a dying star that expelled its outer layers, showcased within the image by the glowing pink ring.It is situated within the Lyra constellation and is seen within the evening sky in the course of the summer time months.
