US nationwide crosses into North Korea from South Korea – UN Command
A US man is believed to be in custody in North Korea after he crossed the border with out permission throughout a tour.The man is a US Army solider named Travis King, in line with South Korean newspaper Dong-a Ilbo, citing South Korea's military.
The UN Command mentioned it occurred as he was visiting the Joint Security Area, a part of the demilitarised zone separating South and North Korea.He then crossed into the North with out authorisation."A U.S National on a JSA orientation tour crossed, without authorization, the Military Demarcation Line into the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK)," the UN Command tweeted.
