Doreen Mantle: One Foot In The Grave actress dies aged 97

Actress Doreen Mantle, greatest identified for her position within the BBC comedy sequence One Foot In The Grave, has died aged 97.

She died “peacefully at home”, her agent mentioned.

Mantle starred as Jean Warboys, the annoying buddy of Victor Meldrew’s spouse, in One Foot In The Grave.
