The feminist weblog web site Jezebel has discovered a house after it was shuttered by its guardian firm this month.
Culture publication Paste acquired Jezebel on Tuesday from former guardian firm G/O Media.
The phrases of the deal haven’t been made public.
“The acquisition means that the critical information and content that Jezebel readers have come to rely on will live on,” Paste Editor-in-Chief Josh Jackson stated in a press release.
Paste stated it would instantly start rebuilding the workers of the feminist publication and that earlier writers are the primary on its name checklist.
The deal comes after G/O Media introduced earlier in November that it will shut down Jezebel and lay off all workers, citing uneven financial waters. G/O CEO Jim Spanfeller stated he had but to surrender on discovering a purchaser for the location. Now he has one.
Jezebel thrived within the 2010s as a punchy web site that centered on progressive commentary, normally from a feminist lens.
