Kim Kardashian says turning into a mom has been ‘essentially the most difficult factor’

Kim Kardashian has opened up about her parenting struggles, saying motherhood has been “the most challenging thing”.

Speaking to Jay Shetty on his podcast On Purpose, the 42-year-old actuality star mentioned turning into a mom had been “the thing that has taught me the most about myself”.

She mentioned there was “nothing that can prepare you” for the expertise of motherhood.

The mum-of-four mentioned there have been nights when she would cry herself to sleep.

“Everyone says the days are long and the years are short, and that couldn’t be a more true statement,” Kardashian mentioned.

“When you’re in it, I mean, especially when they’re babies and you’re feeding, there’s madness going on, it’s like full madness. It’s the best chaos though.”

She continued: “I would say parenting is the thing that has taught me the most about myself. It has been the most challenging thing.

“There are nights I cry myself to sleep. Like, what simply occurred? With all of the moods and the personalities.

“There’s nothing that can prepare you… but you will figure it out.”

Kardashian mentioned to assist the kids admire her extra as a mom, she writes letters for them yearly on their birthday.

She added: “Every year I write each one of my kids about a four or five-page letter on their birthday about what the year was like, who their friends are, silly words they’re saying, their favourite foods, all the silly things that they do.

“[It’s] a bit of journey of what the 12 months is like and it is so enjoyable to see from the primary 12 months.

“Now, you know, one of them is almost 10 years old, and I know that they’ll appreciate this.”

Open and trustworthy conversations

Touching on the highlight surrounding her household, Kardashian mentioned she tries to be open and trustworthy about it along with her youngsters.

She mentioned: “I’ll talk to my kids about anything they want to ask me about, I’m so open and honest with my kids. I think that’s the only way to be.

“I believe they grew up seeing the cameras, they grew up seeing that whilst infants.

“We’d walk out and there would be paparazzi. It’s not really something that they acknowledge a lot.”

The actuality star mentioned that her daughter North is “really vocal” and can inform the digital camera to go away her alone if she doesn’t need them round.

After the 2 divorced in 2021, Kardashian began courting comic Pete Davidson for 9 months.

On the podcast, Kardashian mentioned she was a “hopeless romantic” who at all times needs to be in love.

“I think I’ll always be a hopeless romantic and always want to be in love and definitely love sharing my life with someone, and love creating a life with someone,” she mentioned.

“I definitely will take my time. And I think there’s so many factors, especially when you have kids and being mindful of people that enter in your life.”

“I truly think someone is such a solid person when they have really grounded relationships,” she added.
