SAN JUAN, Puerto Rico — American mannequin Gigi Hadid and a good friend went forward with a trip within the Cayman Islands after native authorities arrested the pair for marijuana possession and later launched them.
Hadid, who arrived on a personal plane from the U.S., was arrested after Customs and Border Control brokers searched her baggage and located a small quantity of hashish, the company stated in an announcement Tuesday.
Officials recognized her as Jelena Noura Hadid, which is the 28-year-old mannequin’s authorized title.
Hadid and her good friend arrived within the Cayman Islands on July 10 and pleaded responsible on July 12 to importing a managed drug and a drug utensil. They had been fined greater than $1,200, with no conviction recorded, authorities stated.
