Everyone is aware of that one Brick and one Lumber make a street within the recreation Catan. But what about two bricks and 4 hen thighs?
That’s the beginnings of an amazingly scrumptious, but easy, predominant dish included within the new “Catan: The Official Cookbook.”
Add a lemon, oven, and aluminum foil, and also you’re all set.
This recipe is quick and straightforward, and can add some victory factors to your cooking recreation. It is gluten-free, sugar-free, dairy-free and low-fat.
Chicken beneath a brick
Serves: 4
Prep Time: 5 minutes
Cook Time: quarter-hour
Ingredients:
4 boneless, skin-on hen thighs (ask your butcher to take away the bones for you)
Extra-virgin olive oil, for coating
2 lemons, halved
Sea salt, to style
Freshly floor pepper, to style
Directions:
Preheat the oven to 425°F. Wrap two bricks in aluminum foil.
Season the hen on all sides with salt and pepper.
Heat a big cast-iron skillet over excessive warmth for about 2 to three minutes, or till highly regarded. Add sufficient olive oil to coat the underside of the pan. Place the hen skin-side down into the recent pan and place the lemons cut-side down into the pan. Immediately high the hen with the bricks or, if you happen to don’t have any, a second cast-iron skillet.
