Comedian Rhod Gilbert has mentioned “it’s lovely to be alive” as he returned to the stage after receiving therapy for most cancers.
The Welsh comic, identified for appearances on sequence reminiscent of Never Mind The Buzzcocks, introduced he had head and neck most cancers final 12 months.
Gilbert mentioned in February that he was “coming back” to his former self and described his therapy at Velindre Cancer Centre in Cardiff as “faultless”.
He posted a video on social media after his gig at Swansea Arena on Friday.
“It is wonderful being back doing stand-up again for the first time in a year. I’m feeling good,” he instructed followers.
“Lovely to be here, lovely to be back in Swansea, lovely to be alive, lovely to be back on tour”.
Swansea Arena wrote in a Tweet after his efficiency: “We’re all so chuffed you’re back to doing what you do best.”

On 1 October, Gilbert shall be heading again to Wales for a particular occasion at Cardiff’s Wales Millennium Centre.
