Ronan Keating’s brother Ciaran killed in automotive crash in Co Mayo

Singer Ronan Keating’s brother Ciaran has been killed in a automotive crash in Co Mayo.

It is known Mr Keating’s spouse was injured within the incident.

His son performs for Cork City. The soccer membership stated on Twitter that it was “deeply saddened at the passing of Ciaran Keating, father of our player Ruairí Keating”.

Cork City stated: “We extend our deepest sympathies to Ruairi and the entire Keating family at this exceptionally difficult time.

“We ask that the household’s privateness be revered. Funeral preparations will likely be confirmed sooner or later.

“May he rest in peace.”

The two-vehicle accident occurred on the N5 at Ballymiles, close to Swinford, at about 3.35pm on Saturday.

The driver of the opposite automobile was significantly injured and brought to Mayo University Hospital.

A person and a girl, passengers from every automotive, are being handled too. Their accidents aren’t regarded as life-threatening.
