Former BBC Radio 1 DJ Tim Westwood has been questioned twice beneath police warning over 5 alleged intercourse offences.
The alleged offences return 40 years, between 1982 and 2016, in accordance with the Met Police.
Scotland Yard stated detectives interviewed a 65-year-old man beneath warning on 15 March and 4 April.
No arrests have been made.
Detectives first obtained claims of intercourse assaults in April final 12 months, after the BBC aired a documentary revealing allegations towards the presenter from seven girls.
Westwood strongly denied any wrongdoing.
Soon after, police started assessing extra experiences, together with alleged assaults in London, Essex and Hertfordshire.
The BBC later reported allegations from one other 10 girls, one claiming she had begun having intercourse with Westwood after assembly him at a membership when she was 14.
A Metropolitan Police spokesperson stated: “Police are investigating 5 experiences referring to allegations of non-recent sexual offences allegedly dedicated by a person.
“The offences are alleged to have occurred in London between 1982 and 2016.
“A 65-year-old man was interviewed beneath warning on 15 March 2023 and 4 April 2023.”
The pioneering hip-hop DJ labored for BBC Radio 1 from 1994 to 2013 and has had an enormous following as a membership performer.
He stood down from his radio present on Capital Xtra in April final 12 months when the BBC allegations emerged, with girls alleging predatory and undesirable sexual behaviour and abuse of his place within the music trade.
