Ryan Reynolds is bringing Welsh TV reveals to an American viewers.
The Hollywood actor’s new tv channel will function a slot known as “Welsh Wednesdays” – showcasing in style dramas, quick movies and documentaries.
Reynolds is the co-owner of Wrexham Football Club alongside It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia star Rob McElhenney – and each have been praised for selling Welsh language and tradition globally in recent times.
The Deadpool star’s new channel known as Maximum Effort – and the primary “Welsh Wednesday” will function the drama sequence Bang in addition to documentary sequence Pen Petrol (Petrol Head), Y Wal Goch (Red Wall), Wrecsam Clwb Ni (Wrexham Our Club), Fets (Y Fets) and Gareth Bale: Byw’r Freuddwyd (Gareth Bale: Living the Dream).
Reynolds stated: “As many have famous, there’s an alarming lack of Welsh content material out there for American viewing pleasure. That stops as we speak. Well, truly Wednesdays.

S4C’s chief content material officer, Llinos Griffin-Williams, stated Reynolds understood “the importance of Welsh culture and the language”.
