Arab League votes to readmit Syria as members start to normalise ties with President Assad
The Arab League has voted to readmit Syria greater than a decade after it was suspended following a bloody crackdown on road protests that led to civil conflict.The lifting of the suspension consolidates a regional push to normalise ties with Syria's President Bashar al Assad.
