Duvall to get X-rays on wrist after exiting in ninth
DETROIT -- In the underside of the ninth inning of Sunday’s 4-1 win over the Tigers, Adam Duvall exited the sport after he appeared to injure his left wrist on a diving play try within the outfield.
“He’s getting X-rays right now, so we don’t know,” supervisor Alex Cora mentioned postgame. “We’ll know more tomorrow.”
Tigers first baseman Spencer Torkelson hit a shot to middle subject and Duvall's glove appeared to get caught within the grass as he tried to put out for the catch. Duvall received up holding his left wrist, the identical one which required season-ending surgical procedure final July when he was with the Braves.
