Frank Farian: Legendary producer and founding father of Boney M dies, aged 82
Legendary disco producer Frank Farian - founder and mastermind behind the hit Nineteen Seventies band Boney M - has died on the age of 82, in response to his household.The German producer fashioned the group in 1976, and was their main author as they recorded a string of disco hits together with Daddy Cool, Rasputin, and a well-liked remake of the Christmas track, Mary's Boy Child.
He later based the pop duo Milli Vanilli, and labored with music legends together with Meat Loaf and Stevie Wonder.Farian handed away at his residence in Miami, in response to an announcement launched by his company on behalf of his household on Tuesday.Liz Mitchell, one of many unique singers of Boney M, paid tribute to Farian in a publish on Facebook.
