The House will launch its impeachment inquiry into President Biden this month with a listening to that lays out proof of Biden household actions that Republicans say show unlawful affect peddling and corruption.
House Oversight and Accountability Committee Chairman James Comer introduced the listening to following a closed-door assembly with rank-and-file Republicans. He stated the listening to will happen in September however didn’t specify the date.
The Kentucky Republican will lead the impeachment inquiry from his perch on the Oversight panel, which plans to start the investigation instantly.
“We plan on having a hearing in September that will kind of evaluate some of the things that we believe have happened from the Biden family that are in violation of our laws,” Mr. Comer stated.
